Volunteers honored at holiday party
At the 2008 COSTAC/COSF holiday party, many of our tireless volunteers were recognized for the time and energy they have contributed to the COSCA Volunteer Corps. The COSCA Volunteer Corps has many ways for volunteers to help maintain and preserve the open space that surrounds our beautiful Conejo Valley. By joining with other residents of Thousand Oaks, COSCA volunteers help ensure that the trails, canyons, and ridgelines will be here for future generations. In the past year, our volunteers donated nearly 6,000 hours to open space projects and programs.

Conejo Open Space Trails Advisory Committee Meetings
Conejo Open Space Trails Advisory Committee (COSTAC) meetings are open to the public, and are usually held on the first Monday of each month. However, there is no COSTAC meeting scheduled for December due to the holidays. The next meeting is scheduled for January 5, 2009. For information, please contact Shelly Austin, COSCA Associate Planner, at 805-449-2339 or saustin@toaks.org.
