Community Outreach
On Saturday, June 30, 2007, the Conejo Open Space Trails Advisory Committee (COSTAC), supported by the Conejo Open Space Foundation (COSF), plans to host an information table from 8:30 a.m. to noon in the Lang Ranch Open Space. Volunteers will be at the trailhead at the east end of Lang Ranch Parkway to offer trail maps, hike and event schedules, and lots of information about the Conejo Open Space, the Conejo Open Space Foundation, environmental education, COSCA volunteer opportunities, and more.
Dos Vientos Open Space Trail Map is in work
The Conejo Open Space Foundation provides funding to create and publish open space trail maps. Currently, maps exist for Wildwood Park, Los Robles Open Space, and Lang Ranch / Woodridge Open Space. A map of the numerous trails in the Dos Vientos area is now being developed. Existing trail maps are available at the Conejo Recreation and Park District office at 403 W. Hillcrest Drive in Thousand Oaks, and also at many of the local trailheads. These maps may also be found at this website: Wildwood, Los Robles, Lang Ranch / Woodridge.
