Supporting the Conejo Open Space
At the March 2007 meeting of the Conejo Open Space Conservation Agency (COSCA), the Rotary Club of Thousand Oaks is being recognized for its support of the Conejo Open Space.

On their website, http://www.rotary.org, Rotary International describes its main objective as being "service - in the community, in the workplace, and throughout the world. Rotarians develop community service projects that address many of today's most critical issues, such as children at risk, poverty and hunger, the environment, illiteracy, and violence. They also support programs for youth, educational opportunities and international exchanges for students, teachers, and other professionals, and vocational and career development. The Rotary motto is Service Above Self ".

In support of the open space, the Rotary Club of Thousand Oaks has made a generous contribution to the Conejo Open Space Foundation. Thanks to the Rotary Club of Thousand Oaks, and thanks to all supporters of the Open Space.
