The Foundation will provide trail maps, literature, and lots of information about our Conejo Open Space and expansive trail system. For inquiries, please contact Julie Osborn at volunteer@cosf.org.

Adopt-A-Trail Program - Two more trails adopted!
Adopt-A-Trail is one of the Conejo Open Space Conservation Agency's Volunteer Corps programs. A trail adopter, or sponsor, can be an individual, a group, or an organization. The sponsor agrees to be responsible for the maintenance and/or development of an adopted trail or trail segment within the Conejo Open Space system. Currently, at least 17 Conejo Open Space trails have been adopted, and more are available! Contact Julie Osborn at adoptatrail@cosf.org for more information.

Steve Forman, is an open space enthusiast, an avid trail runner, and one of the latest appointees to the Conejo Open Space Trails Advisory Committee. Steve has adopted the Arroyo Conejo (Barranca) trail, and plans to not only maintain the existing trail in this area, but do some needed trail reroutes and water crossings.

Mark Burley, a long time supporter of the open space, recently adopted the Lower Santa Rosa Trail (Baseline Trail). This trail is located at the base of Mount Clef Ridge on the Santa Rosa Valley side, and is partially in the Conejo Open Space. Mark Burley and Santa Rosa Valley Trails Inc., a non-profit organization, endeavor to plan, create, acquire, and maintain a multi-use non-motorized trail system for public use in the Santa Rosa Valley and surrounding areas, and to provide connections to other trails and/or recreational facilities, including the Conejo Open Space.
