Moderately strenuous 4½ mile loop with a total elevation gain/loss of about 1300 ft. Hillcrest Ridge Trail and White Sage trail connect at both the north and south ends making a loop hike-route with 360° views of Thousand Oaks and the surrounding area. Hillcrest Ridge Trail has many up and down sections, some fairly steep. How to get there: Head east on Janss Rd. to La Granada. The trailhead is at the east end of La Granada, after it turns south. Park on the street at the end of La Granada. |
